One of the reasons I chose this shaving brush was the price. It was very reasonable and I needed a brush. The brush really surprised me. I only used boar bristle brushes. I was under the impression that these are the only brushes that can produce decent lather. Also, it's a synthetic brush. So maybe I lowered the bar a bit. The price was too good. Wow. The brush was firm, odorless, tangle-free (and hasn't tangled since I received it, by the way), the handle is comfortable to hold wet and dry, and the bristles didn't fall out. Who hasn't lost two or three bristles per shave? And let's not forget the feelings. Talk about luxury. I'm still not coming to my senses. It feels great on my face. For info, I'm using Williams Mug Shaving Soap Washers. With this brush, all I have to do is place it in a shaving bowl of hot water for a few minutes and I'll whip up a great lather. The amount of water the brush holds is ridiculous. Do yourself a favor and try this brush.
