Big bang for your buck
The HW-A550 is easy to connect to my Samsung Q60 series TV via HDMI ARC. The HW-A550's HDMI ARC option makes it a better value than the HW-A450 if you want the best sound from a 2.1 system. The additional power of the HW-A550 is immediately noticeable - 410 W! The subwoofer is also convincing. But what impressed me the most was the Dolby 5.1/DTS Virtual X option, which really excels at reproducing surround sound from the soundbar and subwoofer. However, the Adaptive Sound Lite option isn't as good as AI Sound Pro on comparable LG 2.1 soundbar systems (I have an LG SN5Y on top). I recommend HW-A550.
