This backpack is NOT a regular size and is NOT suitable for school use. That's very, very little! The largest compartment cannot be zipped if you put a regular 1 inch folder in it, and the backpack fits no more than 2 regular size textbooks (you can use it for 1st grade). And forget your packed lunch. Even if you can accommodate things, they cannot be fully utilized. For example, if you put something in the front top pocket, it will bottleneck the middle section all the way down and you have to take everything out of the pocket. Front pocket to access what you store in the middle. Looks like a great sturdy backpack but not suitable for school.
