I have used hand razors for most of my life and have recently switched to electric razors. I went back to manual shaving because of the less close shave, but wanted to be able to shave in the shower. With this mirror it is possible. It's completely fog-free, no. Is it easy to just unhook it, run it under the tap for a while, and drop it back under when it starts to fog up? Yes. Most days I don't have to restart it and stop shaving before it fogs up. Sometimes I just hold it under water for another five seconds and you're done. Very functional. I like the glue on the hook more than the suction cups.
