This is a thick long scarf with a bit of stretch and lots of volume but not too heavy for the weight. This length is enough to use the Parisian knot or the four-hand knot, which requires the scarf to be folded in half before being wrapped around the neck. This is true even for a tall, wide-necked man like mine in bulky outerwear. And it's thick enough that once you've tied it up, you'll want to rush outside before you start sweating. I wish it was red but it's not available so I ordered the camel which is copper rust brown. It's nice. Quality seems good; All edges are well finished so hopefully it won't unravel by itself. observe care instructions; You should hand wash it with Woolite or something similar and towel dry. Overall a very fair price for exactly what I was looking for.
