Very nice and soft but very thin.
Bought this item for my 11 year old daughter. She loves it right out of the box. Upon inspection, the pillowcase is only 1, and the material is very thin. It's very soft though, and I hope it doesn't show through if I find a blanket to tuck into the cover. In general I am satisfied with the duvet cover.
