I bought this for occasional use on the commuter network but ended up using it instead of my briefcase all the time because it has so many more storage compartments for little ones has items and plenty of space and padding for my 13" MacBook Pro and 12.9" iPad Pro. I have my eye on a similar Tumi device, but it's pretty hard to beat the price 65% off here. I have another Victorinox trolley that I've used on international trips and it's holding up very well - I expect the same durability from this backpack although it doesn't use a ballistic nylon material like the other bag. Flexibility through multiple storage pockets, although a design issue that seems to be common with Victorinox bags is the use of vertical vents in the front storage pockets. If someone forgets to snap them back up there's an increased chance of something valuable falling out, in my opinion, as opposed to horizontal holes where gravity is a natural holding force. It's easy to forget to pull it closed because the zipper is somewhat hidden behind a protective flap, so the entire opening is practically wide open. This is by no means an advertisement, but something that requires special care to avoid. Overall the quality of this bag for the money is excellent and it's clear a lot of effort has gone into the design. It's discreet, attractive (I'd have no hesitation in taking it to a client appointment), has a back strap for attaching a trolley, and the zippers feel nice. My only question is, what about the rather odd screwdriver/bottle opener permanently attached to the inside of one of the front pockets? If anyone wanted to use this tool, you would have to keep a bag right next to what you're working on, which would be awkward to say the least. recommend - it perfectly combines usefulness, attractiveness and a very reasonable price.
