In general it turned out to be a nice and solid money clip. There are no complaints about the build quality in general. It was very heavy and felt and looked like a showpiece. Here my observations ended. Quality is usually my priority, but this clip didn't seem functional to me. What I dislike the most is how narrow the clip is and the lack of grip/tension across the surface/contact patch. There is a small neoprene pad at the top that offers some support under light loads, but this is where most of the support takes place. My clip was mostly only held near the tip resulting in a loose fit, especially without 4 cards in the clip. My load consisted of eight bills and four cards. The loose clamping feel and small contact area bothered me and was the reason I sent it back. Can I recommend this to someone? Of course, if that person doesn't mind the high cost of entry, wants a quality part, but doesn't have the best grip due to the weight and tightness of the clip, which concentrates all holding power in a small area. However, M-clip has another product that solves these problems. It lacks build quality and comparative complexity (although both were excellent compared to others on the market), but it's a stunning and lightweight design with plenty of contact area and grip due to the clamp width and tension. The patented design also makes the clip easy to use and allows it to sit flush in your pocket. The product is the M-Clip Tightwad line. I ordered the stainless steel model in silver and liked it so much that I also ordered the carbon model at a higher price.
