Review on Eton Grundig G2 Black NG2B AM/FM/Shortwave Radio with Recorder by Shawn Welker

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Almost delighted - Radio

Pretty cool to me. It has many features that I don't use, but the ones that I use work and I'm happy with them. The alarm clock (you can program multiple alarms) is loud and repeats many times if you set it that way. I'm a deep sleeper and I can trust that to wake me up. I like the ability to record radio programs. I carry it around in the car and set it to program recording in case I miss something while driving. Yes, even advertising when I might need some crazy local service. It can be programmed to turn on and off. I can store many hours of radio programs and later listen to them as MP3 (stereo). In fact, I set it up to record the radio programs that interest me while I sleep - like a DVR. It supports Micro SD card. I believe the book says 16GB but I use it with 32GB and it works. If you want to save the recording, you can connect it to your computer with the included USB cable and transfer the file(s). You just have to remember to charge it every 6-7 hours. I would like it not to get static when charging the battery and tuning in to the radio at the same time as it will interfere with real time radio reception.
