So in the past I've sometimes used IVANKY cables as a last resort, usually when I need a braided cable and nobody else makes it. So far I have used their Displayport, Displayport/Mini DP cables and most recently microHDMI to HDMI. I've never had a problem with any of their cables and this last one works great with my Asus 17" portable monitor at 240Hz native resolution. Given the relatively flimsy feel of the Micro HDMI, the IVANKY cable seems pretty solid, although I haven't had one for so long, and I'm not worried about it being too heavy in the connector and potentially causing problems [the OEM Cable is just *SO* thick and heavy]. The best part is that the braid is very strong. I've had some old cables for over a year and they haven't chipped or worn out even after being wrapped, tucked away, unplugged, washed and repeated. I'm not very familiar with these guys but I'm willing to do some research as they put out a solid product.
