This was my first time using Shortie's and based on the positive reviews I figured they would offer at least one flavored wax cube that would be on par with some of the top brands. The flavors themselves are decent and the quality of the wax blend itself is good. The problem is the longevity and persistence of the scent. After 4-6 hours the smell was completely gone. It was in 2 separate enclosed rooms, one approx 300 sq ft and another approx 200 sq ft. Wax cubes from leading brands will easily last 24 hours or more. I've even used coffee beans to clean up my aromatic palette. Nothing. My son was coming home from college for vacation and when he came in the door I asked him if he liked the smell and he said he couldn't smell anything. He had to lift the heating pad to even catch the smell. Mind you, that was 4.5 hours after using a cube. I think Shortie's recognize that the longevity and quality of their oils is probably more on the economic side, which is why they increase the size of their wax cubes compared to the leading brands. Don't let the size fool you. Wax is much cheaper than aromatic oils used for mixing and pouring. Bigger isn't necessarily better, and this is a perfect example of hand slip. Unfortunately a disappointment, I had hoped for more. It's just not worth the cost when you need 2-3cc to compete with any of the other brands. I recommend saving your presentation costs with butcher paper, stickers, and glossy inserts, and investing in R&D and better scented oils. I would not recommend it. There are more efficient and cheaper ways.
