Will not work on my computer/TV

Probably a good product but it didn't work on my computer/TV. The computer did not recognize the second display. I wanted to send it back but the shipping was about half the cost of the splitter. Given the amount of time I spent looking for a suitable box for it (the one it came in was very large), printing out the return paperwork, sealing the box with tape and then taking it to a USP store 4 Drove miles from my house, this isn't worth it. Pay $8.00 to return a $16 item. So I think I have a trash can splitter.
