Our little one needs wide shoes and Stride Rite has the most suitable and effective options for him. We started with the Soft Motion sole when he started taking a few steps on his own. We then moved on to this Winston with an SR Tech outsole. The SR Tech was a nice feature that gave the sole more grip and a more grounded feel when transitioning from new walkers. We don't have SR Tech in his current shoes (which are part of the Stride Rite Made2Play line), but it looks like he didn't need this feature anymore as he became an accomplished walker. foot development. We bought Target wide width tennis shoes to save some money as the Stride Rite are quite expensive but we immediately returned them as they were too stiff for them. We find this Winston shoe a bit small. Therefore, we recommend choosing a size that your child can easily walk in order to be able to wear them longer. The foot is held so securely that our child had no heel slippage when trying it on.
