The back of the earbuds is blocky and doesn't even come close to fitting the ears naturally. The edges are square and sharp, digging into your ears in minutes. If you look closely at the earbuds in the product images, you'll also see that little protrusion on the bottom of the earbuds when you put them in your ear. It only sticks out 2 or 3 millimeters, but that's enough to dig into the earlobe.
