Best Mask Hair Care

This has been my favorite hair mask for a long time. I have thin (the diameter of each hair shaft is small) but thick (a lot of strands) hair, also wavy, curly, curly. It is very difficult, in my opinion and in the opinion of professional hairdressers! I use this mask *after every* shampoo, not conditioner. I apply the mask from the middle to the ends of my hair and then work the rest of the mask on the roots to give them some moisture without weighing them down too much. I then gently comb through my hair with a wide-toothed comb, gently massaging each strand to apply the mask to the strands. After that I style my hair on top, cut it loose, cover my hair with a plastic shower cap and do the rest of the shower (scrub, shave, etc.). From time to time when my hair needs extra moisture and softness, I wear a towel turban over a plastic shower cap to keep some of the heat off my head, which helps the mask penetrate my hair, and then exit the shower with the mask on for half an hour. or so before rinsing with cool/cold water. This mask definitely did a lot to keep each strand hydrated and prevent the breakage I get when my fine hair gets overly dry. It works best to minimize frizz, so I only need my everyday styling products to do the rest. This mask is NOT too heavy for my hair type, but I have friends with fine (strand count) thin (strand diameter) hair who have said it makes their hair greasy and weighs down. It smells *delicious*, with hints of honey. The formula itself is very thick and sits in the bath in a soft, solid form, making it very luxurious and nourishing. This is one of the few products that I buy in bulk with automatic orders!
