The grammar mistakes in the item description should have been a red flag but I went ahead anyways. And do I regret it. There is no mimic function with the one I received. Turning on the item on causes the cactus to dance continually. It’s a dancing machine, literally. It doesn’t stop. There is no button for the mimic function and talking to it when it’s in its non stop dance mode does nothing. The volume button works with different preset levels and the music selection is just as other reviews say it is. But when I tried to use the record a message function it also records the mechanical noise made by the non stop dancing so my message comes out distorted. Not even close to being worth the $31 I paid. This one is going back.
