You will need special terminators

. So first the benefits - This is a reliable product for running very well shielded, heavily insulated cable in the wall, I have no doubt there will be no problems with crossover or interference. runs around the house. Now the cons. I learned this the hard way. It says it's a 23AWG hardcore. Trust me, it fits almost no 23AWG terminator. Well why because of that extra insulation around the fixed core pairs. You have to find 22AWG terminators if you don't just want endless hours of frustration. I was almost to the point of using Keystone end-to-end and getting multiple Category 6A UTPs to connect at each end of my runs. Luckily I found a spot where larger terminators were and finally got the cable right. So yes, the cable itself is a solid product and if you're worried about running it in a wall close to electrical or other potential interference, do so. just know what you're getting into when it comes to connecting that end-to-end. So my overall rating is 4 out of 5 stars. and yes these terminators I found are about $1 each and they come in packs of 100 so add that to the total cost.

Pros
  • Meets or exceeds Category 6a performance per TIA/EIA 568-C. 2
Cons
  • You could have chosen a newer model
