Review on ๐Ÿงณ Efficient Suitcase Compression Luggage Organizer - Essential Travel Accessories for Smart Packing by Katie Allen

LIKE the two-way function, BUT. . .

I am a frequent traveler and an avid traveller. So I've been trying to pack cubes and compression cubes for years. I rushed to buy the MagicToDoor set as soon as I saw them. I liked the color (black); washable; Compression; and most importantly, a two-way bonus. I knew that a set of four dice wasn't enough (usually I like/want at least 2 large dice) but I was seduced by the two-sided feature and I wasn't wrong. However, I packed them for a 5-day trip that included both casual and dressier activities, but before stowing my carry-on, I packed everything back into my trusty LeanTravel compression cubes. (2 dresses, 3 light pants, 1 skirt, 5 tops, 1 light sweater, 1 medium sweater, underwear, accessories). They won't get lumpy. The advantage of MagicToDoor cubes is light weight, washability and easy storage when folded. But without the hard sides of LeanTravel, they get packed and compressed into chunky cubes. This might be fine for travel (or clothing) that's casual and doesn't wrinkle, but it won't necessarily work if you have more formal events on your agenda; and in any case clumps make the package less compact. Plus, the Leading Edge has transparent windows so you can see what's inside each cube - especially handy for 2 or 3 stop journeys when you can't use everything at every stop. MagicToDoor requires you to attach a label or use a clear plastic window (like made for business cards) so you know what's inside. MagictoDoor is $26 for 4 pieces; Leading Edge is $45 for 6, so they cost about the same per cube. I will be using some of these to supplement the Cutting Edge Cubes but will mostly leave them (labeled) at home for off-season item storage. No set of dice I've tried has been entirely perfect, and some of these are personal: I like to have 2 large and 2-3 medium dice, even if I only use them all for long trips and checking luggage. (I'm 5'3" and can pack smaller bags than my 5'11" husband). Packers, families, backpackers. I'd love to see MagictoDoor add a bit of rigidity to their ingenious design - I'd be the biggest fan!
