EDIT - ORIGINAL REVIEW BELOW 2ND REVIEW - Unfortunately I have to downgrade my rating. While what I said below is true, I wouldn't recommend anyone using them for hiking on slippery surfaces. I would say don't even go in the kitchen when your ass is wet unless you want your ass to hurt. They have zero grip when wet. Very disappointed as I walk a lot by the creek and was hoping they could replace my wet sneakers. ORIGINALS was worried they would be tight as I have a very wide foot but they are perfect; and they still look good and don't make me look like Big Foot. I have 7 1/2 lengths but I always buy 8 or 8 1/2 to make up for the width. It wasn't necessary for them and I could probably get by with 7. The only thing I wish would be a little more arch support for my very high arch. Otherwise this is exactly what I was hoping for.
