Review on 🥡 Rubbermaid Brilliance Clear Food Storage Container - Medium Deep Size (4.7 Cup Capacity) by Chelsey Smith

I have bought several of these containers in different sizes. I mainly use them for storing haberdashery and the fridge. These containers have wonderful lids that snap open and close tightly and the body is beautifully transparent. Unfortunately the plastic is cracked. I've only had these bins a few months and have noticed small cracks forming along the curved edge where the bottom and sides meet. Over time, these cracks will grow longer and thicker until the plastic gives in completely. Keep in mind that despite the rating, these containers have never been in the freezer, have rarely been reheated in the microwave, and the only dishwasher in this house is me. They have not been dropped or hit so I have to conclude that the material itself is defective. This is a monumental disappointment from a well known company like Rubbermaid. I paid quite a bit of money for them and they aren't even durable like the "disposable" containers I've used that lasted for years. Bad show Rubbermaid.
