Unsuccessful purchase, I am disappointed.

Whereas my first Logitech mouse worked flawlessly for ten years, my new one hasn't even lasted a year.
I have purchased an MX705, G500, and G600 in the past two years. After a few months of use, all three of them started doing it. And it's not even factoring in the cost of the horse or the fact that it can only carry such light loads (sluggish office poking, no playing involved). This smells like deliberate obsolescence to me.

As a whole, I avoid anything branded with the infamous Logitech cross.

Pros

Even without using it for gaming, the on-board mini-keyboard will revolutionize the way you interact with your PC. Assigning all the right-hand running keys (enter, pgup, pgdown, etc.) to the mouse saves time and effort because the right hand doesn't have to be moved between the keyboard and the mouse.
