I bought this to store a 7ft Christmas tree (could be 7.5ft). Several reviews said this is a very large bag that still has room. It's amazingly big. I pulled up a tree and stood on it, and there was actually plenty of room for other things. The bag is rectangular in shape but does not have a hard shell and looks more like a giant duffel bag. The son took the handles and slung it over his shoulder to carry it down to the basement like this. With its ability to hold so many things, it probably needs wheels to handle the weight it can carry. It has handles at the ends so two people can carry it. I'm happy with the bag because I didn't have to struggle to put a tree in it and my tree is very wide.
