I wanted a soft briefcase-trolley stuffed with a fairly large laptop, corner, camera, etc. electronics that are difficult to carry on the shoulder . It worked great. The only problem was that he didn't want to stay open at 90 degrees when stationary. The bungee straps pulled so hard it kept wanting to close. With a suitcase with a flatter bottom, that probably wouldn't be a problem. I carried it through security and wheeled my briefcase (flipped vertically) straight onto the plane. It folds flat enough to fit the trolley and my briefcase under the seat.
