I have an uninvited raccoon that ate half the carp in my pond. I bought pond netting and placed plant pots around the perimeter. Concerned about a HUGE raccoon throwing my plants into the pond, I originally bought two sets of these hooks. Caution: They do not stick to cobblestones or boulders. I did my best. I then used clear silicone on the defunct adhesive square and tried again. It works well and when placed away from the pond with hooks the net attaches easily. Now it's easy to put on and take off the mesh when needed. I just bought 3 more sets, total 6 orders. Having shiny hooks in a pond of natural zen boulders is not ideal, but my surviving koi will survive another day to swim. Now you need to figure out how to get rid of a giant raccoon.
