I think I had higher expectations for this fan. I got this for our boat because sometimes it gets really hot at the rudder and I need a fan. Just understand that this is a personal fan to be used in close proximity, it does not cool the room. The light is not a work light, it can be a great light when you are camping or during a power outage. It doesn't provide extra light to help you see in the dark. I thought it would help my husband see and feel cooler while working in the engine room. The fan helps move stagnant air in a small space, but doesn't add the extra light that's needed. Don't get me wrong, I love this fan and light, I just had to realize that this is a close-up personal fan and night light. It would be great for boating, camping or hostel. Easy to charge and comes with a micro USB cable. There are 3 fan speeds and 3 backlight brightness settings, but they are weak. The battery life seems to be good.
