Review on Bowers & Wilkins PX7 Wireless Headphones by Ha Joon Joon

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, but there are disadvantages.

Hopefully, the reader of this review will think twice before purchasing these headphones. I paid a total of 22 for it two years ago. At the price that it is currently going for, I can only give it two stars. Following a glowing review of the product posted by a well-known audiophile wearing a black jacket on YouTube, I made the decision to purchase. Landing. They have a very secure hold on the head, which is both a pro and a con depending on how you use them. If you wear glasses, listening to music with headphones will be a living hell for you. After being worn for an hour, the temples will start to exert pressure on the wearer's head. Noise reduction Excellent isolation from background noise. Regarding the one that is active, I have nothing to say. I do not reside in the airport nor the public transportation system. Sound. The way something sounds is highly relative. Some of the tracks sound good (not amazing or mind-blowing, but just good), while others sound absolutely repulsive. It's possible that, in contrast to the reviewers, I'm listening to the "wrong" music. Forget everything you know about complicated genres right now. The music is monotonous and lacks any sense of drive. The genre of black metal is morphing into an incoherent muddle right before our eyes. Both breakcore and extreme electronica are devoid of any feeling whatsoever. In general, after using them for two years, I was unable to derive any pleasure from listening through these headphones. Microphones. During the entirety of the business's operation, I did not successfully complete even a single conference call or phone call while wearing headphones. Everyone I've talked to says that the way they hear me is revolting. Compound. Regarding the connection, there are no negative comments. Each and every one of the devices is connected successfully. There were no interruptions or technical difficulties. The autopause functioned very well. Outcome. After two years, the headphones started having various problems. The first time it was turned on, it didn't always work. The LED has developed its own personality and behavior. The sound was softer in the left earpiece as time went on (many reviews that the sound disappeared altogether). The headphones do not operate in passive mode when connected to the wire, which is yet another IMPORTANT drawback. In other words, if the battery in your headphones is dead, even if you connect them to an external source of sound via a wire, the headphones will not play the sound. The mobile application is of no use. There is no balance that can be found. Finding your way around the buttons on the headphones is a much simpler task than logging into the application. The end result is an abject failure to meet expectations. It is not entirely clear who should use these headphones and in what musical genres they should be used. Not what one would expect from a company that specializes in producing audio equipment. Not in terms of the sound, and not in terms of the value of the product considering how much it costs.
