This is the correct part for my Ford Escape XLT 05 with 3.0L V6. The local parts dealers were selling the wrong part that didn't look like it at all. Before purchasing a new PCV valve, test the valve on your vehicle to ensure you are not doing anything wrong. Before installation, I lubricated the foot to keep it from getting stuck in the mount.
