I was looking for a non-toxic mattress topper for my son's new bed and after a long search finally decided on this one. I love that it's chemical and plastic free, but it's still water resistant! It fits perfectly on the mattress and will definitely buy another one as a spare. Update: My son had a bad urination accident last night for the first time since using this mattress pad on his new bed. He got wet! I pulled back the sheet and then the mattress pad and held my breath as I felt the top of the mattress. and it was dry! Thank God. It was almost a puddle of urine. I was shocked. I will update it again, for some reason it doesn't keep its waterproof magic after multiple washes.
