I just received this two days ago. I have very thick hair. Not that every strand is thick, but I have LOTS of hair. I've been wrapping my head in a towel for over 60 years. It drives me crazy when I'm doing the dishes or cleaning the house and the towel falls off. I've been looking for the best turban for a long time. This one was wider and longer than the others. I looked like a "mini" towel. Well I just washed my hair. I wrapped the towel around my head but twisted the end a bit to get it through the elastic at the bottom. I shook my head but the towel stayed. I just cleaned the kitchen and even helped my husband hang the door. I leaned forward and he stayed where he was. I left it on for 30 minutes. The removal of the towel came as a surprise to me. My hair was drier than if I had left it on for an hour with a thick bath towel. No, I didn't dry my hair. It's probably halfway there, but it's all I need for me to finish air drying. He really took in the water.
