This ball feels very durable and my daughter loves the vibrant colors and texture/feel of material. First of all, remember that it is not inflated, so you need a pump with a needle to inflate it. It comes with a rope but no clip for the end of the pole. So you'll have to order it separately if you don't have one (I only found one source here at Revain; the clip was less than $6 and is good quality). The rope is threaded through a metal clip built into the ball, but not tied. I haven't found an official node to use when searching for "tetherball node" or other variations of it. I found a video for "Rope Hitch" which is easy if you pay close attention and seems like a good choice for this app. Overall I am very happy with the quality and value of this ball. If this fails prematurely I will update my post.
