Review on Antique Brass Adjustable Wreath Hanger | 20-lb Capacity Version - Premium Quality by Wayne Moody

I was thrilled when I took this out of the box. The wreath hook seemed solid, the color was exactly as pictured and the adjustment mechanism worked well. I noticed two grommets at the top of the hook (more on that below), which appeared to be designed to keep the hanger from sliding back and forth on the door. When I put the hanger on the door and carefully tried to close it, I felt resistance, so I refused to close the door. As I pushed the door aside, I saw that the two protrusions at the top had made two ugly indentations in my upper door frame. I'm not thrilled that I need to fix and repaint the door frame. I do not recommend returning this item unless you may have a gap between your door and the top of the frame. I don't know why other reviewers didn't have this issue, but I'm really disappointed with this product.
