Reliable connection between binoculars and binocular strap.
I have a Nikon strap that came with thin leather straps to connect the strap to the binoculars. They failed the first time I used them. So I ordered a set of Vortex connectors. They are made from durable nylon with metal eyelets and a key ring connector that goes through the eyelets on the strap. Latches on a leash snap into rings. The straps took a bit of persuading to get through the slots on my Eagle Optics 8x42 binoculars, but once installed they slid freely through the slots. There seems to be a very strong connection between the harness and the binoculars. I would highly recommend them and will be buying my wife a pair for her seat belt.
