It's great! I've used them on some simple clip on lights from the hardware store, one is 6" with a standard bulb, I had to secure the excess with a small clip but it works the same way. The other is stretched to the limit of 10 or 12 inches. A brood lamp with a flood lamp installed. They are used as face lights for my streaming camera setup (Sony a6000 > elgato hd60 pro) and give me nice soft shadows and really help reduce eye strain. I've paired their lamps and diffusers with Feit LED electrically adjustable bulbs for great color and light control from my Android device.
