I have a 12 year old cat with FLUTD who was diagnosed after having multiple episodes of urinary urgency, crying, urinating bloody and trying to urinate in inappropriate places. She doesn't touch wet food, she doesn't touch her prescription dry food, so I originally put her on Purina Pro-Plan formula. While Purina seemed to be stopping the obvious flare-ups, she was still dripping pee on her coat, leaving a urine smell on things, and she wasn't acting quite like herself, which I initially attributed to the stress of moving and entering a new home. . cat, but this went on for months - she became less clingy, didn't sit on my lap and seemed a little lethargic. She liked it immediately and within a few weeks she was alive and kicking back to her cute happy self, no flashes, no mucus, no smell of urine on her fur, my clothes or my bed. This food seems to work best for her and seems to have stopped any complaints she was having that other foods weren't helping.
