Review on SUUNTO Smartwatch Matte Black Titanium by Jaime Miranda

I love this watch and the battery life is just what I was looking for. I had a Fossil Gen 5 for my Pixel 4XL which I loved but the battery life was terrible to say the least so I traded it in and I'm glad I did. The battery in smartwatch mode lasts all day and into the next day. Not sure how long the battery will last when using GPS or any of the sport modes/advanced features, but the website says around 12 hours. One of my issues with this watch is the HR sensor. I have a sleeve tattoo on my left arm and the sensors don't pick up my heart rate through my tattoos. This is an issue I've had with every smartwatch I've had, even the Apple Watch Series 5 had this issue when I tested it. The watch strap is a very soft and flexible silicone that is both stylish and comfortable. I ended up replacing it with the lime green Suunto 7 silicone sport band simply because I want my skin to breathe a little better than the hard silicone allows. There aren't many default watch faces for Suunto 7 (5, I think), but you do have the option to download third-party watch faces from the Google Play Store. Suunto warns they will work, but only Suunto watch faces have been optimized for Suunto 7. However, I will say that the Heat Map watch face on Suunto 7 is my favorite smart watch watch face that I have tried. This watch is expensive and on par with the Gen 5, but with added sports features, better water protection, and much better battery life. I have no regrets whatsoever with my purchase and would heartily recommend the Suunto 7 if budget allows.
