Wonderful device. It arrived in nice retail packaging with instructions and a battery for the remote control. There was even a spare battery included. I have read several reviews and watched YouTube videos showing the SOAIY Northern Light Projector. I pocketed it and pulled the protective tab out of the remote. I also removed the dome cover for more brightness. Everything worked as expected. The remote control has a range of approximately 3.5m and should not be in sight when used in close proximity (2.5m to 3m). The remote control has many functions, but they are logically structured. It was easy to remember the basic functions, which is important as you'll be using this remote in the dark most of the time. Our bedroom is 12 x 14 feet and the lighting easily covers the entire ceiling. I placed it at an angle since it was at one end of the bedroom. Even in the darkest mode, the light filled the entire ceiling. A nice touch was the different lighting modes, which included individual color modes and color combinations. My wife and I switched modes and quickly found our favorite settings. The whole red take was particularly amazing. The rotation of the device was completely silent. My understanding is that earlier models had some noise issues. This one was completely silent. I would recommend it to anyone who wants to have a nice bedroom holiday. I think it would be perfect for soaking in a tube. The only problem was that the removed mark was very small, so I had to use a magnifying glass to memorize it. (Although I have poor eyesight) There are many similar products out there but I'm so glad I chose this one!
