Ideal for Curved Robes

Our robe is 3+1/2 inches thick with a rounded front that protrudes 3/4 inch from the top edge. Most garter belts are not secure with a front that curves this way. I've found some that curve backwards, but they only stick out about 1 inch, which is only 1/4 inch from the actual top edge (unsure). These simple, inexpensive hooks will get the job done. Based on the photos I was expecting them to be pretty ugly. Although they are not beautiful, they are not ugly either. You have exceeded my expectations. With other things on the robe, they are fairly unremarkable. The transparent plastic hook is triangular and looks like a prism. In the light they look almost silvery. The plastic is strong enough. I attached an 8 pound weight and the hook held up well. I wasn't sure about that weight, but 5 pounds shouldn't be a problem. I can't say anything about durability. Plastic fatigue can be an issue. Still give this 5 stars. Simple, inexpensive, functional. Photo: 1 shows a weight of 8 pounds. 2 side photos (one with weight and one with empty stocking)
