This is a great item and I don't even have a dog. I needed a strong steel cable with closed loops at the ends to raise and lower things off the roof, but in all the stores I looked for, a lightweight 'safety cable', often only a few feet long, worked best . I needed at least 20 feet. Buying raw cable parts and spade lugs to make your own cable from Home Depot wasn't my preference. Then this dog harness showed up. I am confident that this product will protect any 100 lb dog in its intended function. A great all-purpose household item for those who don't have dogs. At 1/4" diameter with many threads, zinc plated, vinyl clad, this product should last a long time.
