I decided to add some photos. My dog 133# sinks like a dream and the second is the start of her nest so very clumsy! I want to love it so bad but I'm not doing it for the cheap stuff! This is a very fluffy blanket and I love it! But now we come to the disadvantages: The material of this blanket is NOT soft and cuddly! It's very rough and makes a lot of noise when you touch or move it. I wouldn't buy this product if you want to sleep in it, the material is cheap and not soft on the skin. Actually woke me up at night because of the noise, although I have very sensitive hearing my husband didn't notice the noise that much. Also, this comforter is small for a king size bed. Luckily my husband and I are small and we turned the duvet on its side otherwise it would have been too small for us. However, let me tell you what's great about a duvet: the fill power of this duvet is amazing! I'm guessing the squares are about 1-2 inches thick and very well constructed. I wanted to include photos but the one in the ad is perfect! The duvet looks exactly as advertised, maybe even plumper! The weight is perfect and the filling is comfortable for cool weather. I wish the cover was of a better quality because the comforter is the perfect potential for luxury hotel dreaminess without the $1000 price tag. I have only slept with this comforter, and our bedroom is usually close to 60 degrees and we both loved the filling and warmth of this comforter. This blanket also breathes well, no sweaty mother under the blanket with this baby! Let me remind you that we only sleep with a blanket, no top sheet, no other blankets, just this blanket. I wanted to love it that way, but I can't handle cheap upholstery material. If you use it to show off that it's beautiful and so soft and sublime it'll definitely get compliments, but for sleeping it's not a wake-up call. I would actually send it back but sending it back costs me more and was a hassle so I'm keeping it to myself for now, I can put it on my daughter's bed or give it to my mother.
