I use this to trim my beard, just set the right length and you're good to go. Also, use it to trim your hair every 2 weeks or so for a more groomed look. I've used this maybe 10 times and the battery is at 95%! Works flawlessly. Those are the only cons, it's a nitpick but be aware this item is heavy. Can be annoying to manipulate. Maybe you just want something lighter. Built like a brick, it's clearly made for professionals who need long battery life and performance. Probably for life. I bought a much lighter $30 trimmer for travel and daily cleaning and am very happy. If I had known how clumsy and heavy I am I would not have bought it
