Review on Secure Your Cash with Eagle Creek Undercover Money Black Travel Wallet Accessories by Sally Dickson

Very useful and a must have when traveling to places where pickpockets are known.

One of the best purchases you can make. I bought this based on reviews and advice from friends about pickpocketing in Italy. It's very light and made of good fabric. The belt is strong, the zipper is of good quality. There are 2 pockets inside the zipper to separate your passport from other currencies. I put 4 passports, 1 credit card + some cash in my pocket and it fits just right. I wrapped it around my waist over my inner shirt and tucked it under my overshirt. It's not entirely subtle, as some others have commented, but it's not obvious - people might think you just have a tummy - a slight bump. I had it from 8am to 11pm for 8 days straight and it became a part of my body - after a few minutes of use I had to check from time to time to see if I had it because it was so convenient to use and you would notice its presence not notice. You can also tuck it in your pants a little and use the pants for extra protection in crowded areas. I was in Italy in August and was sweating all the time, but this baby (yes, my wife called him her baby because I was so attached to him) stayed dry. It was very pleasant to sit with him. When I bought it my wife didn't like the idea of a fanny pack and wanted the neck pack I bought from Revain - I tried it once and it wasn't as comfortable as this one. nor was it as secret as this. I got so used to it that I refused to take it off in Switzerland, a much safer place than Italy, and used it to stow my passports on the way back to the US. I tossed it in the washing machine when I got home and it came out clean. I'm seriously giving up my wallet for everyday use. I would recommend it to anyone going to places known to have pickpockets. I will use it in all my travels - even in the safest of places, mainly for convenience. And I'll order another one in case this finally breaks. As a final side note, although everyone talks and writes about pickpockets in Italy, we have NOT experienced anything like this. We've always been aware of what's around us, but we've never felt the threat of someone stealing from us. Maybe times have changed or we were lucky.
