Review on Livhò Blocking Transparent Computer Eyestrain Computer Accessories & Peripherals by Bronson Hussain

You don't need glasses to see that this product doesn't really work.

These are not blue light blocking glasses. These are UV filter glasses. The seller provides a card that "reacts to blue light" and a "blue" LED for testing your glasses. The problem is that it is actually an LED that emits UV light and the goggles themselves only block the UV light. Map in a sunlit location (sunlight also has ultraviolet light) that the map will change color, presumably indicating "blue light". So not all that bad. I had this suspicion when I put the glasses on and they didn't seem to block visible light (the human eye can't see UV). What this product killed for me is I thought I might at least be able to wear these glasses while working on some projects where I needed basic eye protection (nothing crazy except to keep an old toenail out of my eye etc.), but when I'm looking at SOMETHING dark (including, say, a browser window in dark mode), it's like I'm staring into my own eyes. Count me disappointed.

Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly
