Theoretically ideal for cat doors, railings and steps
I like this for about 3/5 of my cats. The other two became liquid and escaped the throat. It's pretty easy to crush a cat in it, and as long as they're not little Houdinis like mine, it works great. It's quite durable, I was able to carry my burly 18 lb cat by the handle to the sink with no problems.
