Installed them on a 2014 Toyota Venza after the stock halogen bulbs burned out. I wanted something lighter because in a few months this car will be going to a new driver. At first I was a little apprehensive about purchasing based on some of the reviews saying glare and too bright light but decided to give it a try anyway. While they're certainly bright, the pattern and placement of the light is perfect. I think this is vehicle specific rather than bulb specific, leading me to believe oncoming traffic glare issues are vehicle specific rather than bulb specific. Yes, I don't want to look into that bulb, and yes, it distracts the autofocus when you do. In my configuration, the light pattern is forward-facing and doesn't bother oncoming drivers. Installation is very easy, but I'm concerned that the connection won't be able to take advantage of the locking feature of the existing hardware. The bulbs don't have a notch to hold them in place, so I'm concerned they might come loose over time. I think if I had to install them again or if I had problems with this installation I would scale down the connection. The packaging is quite simple and full of grammatical errors that never inspires much confidence in the product, for the moment I am very happy with the product. They're bright, easy to install, and do what they say. Not sure about durability? The warranty for these lamps is only one year. Other competing light manufacturers offer a lifetime guarantee on their lights. If you want this life to become part of the spirit, look elsewhere. Doesn't matter? Try these lights, I don't think you will be disappointed.
