I decided to purchase this item after seeing advertisements praising its ability to untangle hair, smooth it, and shield it from heat. I'm at a loss for words regarding thermal protection. The oil can be applied to the hair and, after a minute or so, will have been absorbed, leaving behind a lovely marmalade scent that will last all day. The oil also transformed my unruly curls into polished waves. It's unfortunate that the effect seems to weaken at the conclusion of the product's life. Either that's the case, or the resulting impact has become routine. The other thing I want to make clear is that this oil is not therapeutic and has simply a cosmetic purpose. The idea that he could contribute to a whole is absurd.
