We installed it under our kitchen sink. I have a 1" bezel around a closet door from a side panel. My husband had to fit a board of wood to attach the towel rail. If you don't do this, the towel rail closest to the door frame is really useless as it doesn't There is enough room for a towel to move freely when the towel rail is pulled out.The material is comfortable, the rods are light (hollow).We had to oil the nylon rollers to make them move smoothly.After greasing it worked perfectly You may need to re-lubricate at some point, but that's not a problem for us.
