Update 7 February 2022: I use this toothbrush twice a day for two cycles with each use about a week before Christmas. Finally, tonight it didn't work and had to be charged. They state a battery life of 100-180 days but with two uses per day and one cycle per use. I double this usage. So 50-90 days of battery life is what I should be getting. I have exactly 52 days. Exactly as advertised. This is the first time I've charged it other than straight out of the box. Charges in about 3 hours. I'm happy. That's a great toothbrush. Original review: The Oday sonic toothbrush is very good. I've been using Philips Sonicare for several years now and it's finally picked up the dust. Oday is a great replacement that I've been using for a while. I only have two criticisms. First, I prefer harder baits. Oday comes with 6 heads but with 3 bristles of different hardness. There are 2 soft (white bristles), 2 medium and 2 harder (blue bristles). I personally would prefer 6 harder blue tips. My second comment is that the grip is not compatible with Sonicare attachments. I wish it was because I just bought a pack right before my other sonic toothbrush broke. I posted some photos of the differences between them. Oday is slightly fatter and wider. Without loops, the Sonicare head will not work. I wish there was a standard size so the tips are interchangeable no matter what brand you buy. Overall, Oday's sonic toothbrush works great. The need to manually connect it with a cable I don't find inconvenient. In fact, I wonder if it can charge faster compared to models that charge indirectly with a charging cradle. I use Oday a week, 2 times a day and 2 cycles each time because I prefer that (doubling the usage how they measure battery life) and haven't seen any signs of the battery needing to be charged yet. At the moment I don't think battery life is an issue at all and I'll definitely update this review if that turns out to be the case. I'm very happy with it and I especially like the price. Oday promises a 10-year warranty, but the paper in the box specifically states that the warranty doesn't cover battery degradation over time. Given that exception, I'm not sure how useful a guarantee would be. These sonic toothbrushes degrade the battery and I'm not sure how they define "deterioration". Each battery only has a certain number of charge cycles before it fails; This just happened to my other toothbrush. In terms of their warranty, do they define "deterioration” in terms of lifetime charge cycles or in terms of battery capacity before needing to be recharged? I don't know the answer to this question. But I think it's a great toothbrush at a reasonable price ($30). Definitely recommended.
