Very heavy and strong chairs. Definitely bigger and sturdier than others we've reviewed. Assembly proved difficult as not all screw holes lined up. The finish is a beautiful bronze and the wood is a dark cherry finish. The seats are larger and more comfortable, but the review that the seats don't hold up is accurate. We've only had them a few months and the foam pad is already cracking. We're short people and probably sit in it a total of 3 hours a day. I would recommend them but keep the comments above in mind.
