Today's best value camcorder

I couldn't decide between this lens and the Sony FX3 so I bought both. While the Sony performs better in low light and doesn't have a BM crop factor, face-to-face in normal light these cameras play in different leagues. The BM has a flickering, pristine video image that's honestly as good as it gets. It's just great. BRAW files load quickly and appear in Resolve, and you can edit them until they're near perfect. If you don't need autofocus and can live with a 1.55 crop factor, this is a great camera for the price. For any price.

Pros
  • ISO bi-amp for exceptional low-light performance. The 6K Pro's camera has a double ISO boost up to 25600, meaning it's optimized to minimize grain or noise in images while maintaining the full dynamic range of the sensor. A native ISO of 400 is ideal for scenes with light on set. An additional high base ISO of 3200 is ideal for shooting in low light.
Cons
  • Available in black only.
