While this set works well in a pinch I would not recommend it as a long trip set. I will list some of my thoughts on this product. What I liked: - There are different sizes and types of bottles, all with caps that screw on and off for easy filling and cleaning after trips. Even a mini sprayer is included (all bottles do not exceed the 3-1-1 TSA carry-on limit). This gives you plenty of options when it comes time to pack! - Comes with small jars for products like cosmetics (I used one for my hair styling cream). Small containers according to TSA regulations. Not so good: Bottles don't always seem to hold their contents securely. I had some conditioner in one of the screw neck bottles and when I landed I noticed a lot of conditioner was leaking out of the bottle. Which brings me to this: the 1 quart bag is not airtight or watertight! If the bottle bursts or otherwise spills, don't rely on the bag to keep other things dry! I learned this the hard way from packing several Christmas presents next to my bag when I first had the leak. The Ziploc component per quart is not as reliable as one might hope. More than once I found the ziploc package partially open (despite the fact that I properly closed the package before unzipping it). Conclusion: Unfortunately, the disadvantages of this product outweigh the advantages. I bought it specifically to use in flight and I just don't trust it enough to use on future air travel. I make sure they are kept in a waterproof bag just in case. I will have to look elsewhere to find a travel set that better suits my needs.
